Crisfield uses big second half to power past Decatur

CRISFIELD, Md.- Up four points at the half, the Crisfield Crabbers rode a big second half from Rykell Waters and Justin Cohen to blow past Stephen Decatur, 73-44 on Thursday.

Up 10-3 after the first quarter, Crisfield would go scoreless for over six minutes, where Decatur took the lead. After a late first half run, Crabbers’ Javion Brown knocked down a three at the halftime buzzer to put them up 20-16 headed into the locker room.

But in the second half, Rykell Waters and Cohen took over. Waters finished with a team-high 21 points, and Cohen dropped 19 to get Crisfield (2-1) back in the win column.

For Decatur (2-1), they were led by Churchill Bounds who scored a team-high 15 points.
