Bennett Girls 50-Point Second Half Tops Parkside

Mekara Hanson’s led the way for the Bennett Clippers with 23 points en route to a 30-point win over rival Parkside 85-55.

At the half both the score was just single digits, but a combination of Hanson and Zy’Aire Smullen put distance between the two teams. Hanson had 13 second-half points including two three-pointers, while Smullen had 15 points in the second half to give Bennett a 50-point half.

Jackie Wright led the scoring for the Rams with 23 points, while Amanda Ballard tacked on 18 more for Parkside.
