Today’s Forecast: November 5, 2018
Cloudy skies will linger into tonight with patchy drizzle and fog at times. Lows will drop into the mid 50s.
A warm front lifts through early on Election Day bringing a warmer southerly wind. This wind will bump temperatures into the low and mid 70s under cloudy skies. A few morning showers cannot be ruled out, but the best chance for rain will be during the afternoon hours. We’ll be keeping an eye out for a possible line of strong to severe thunderstorms between 2 PM – 6 PM. Strong winds will be the primary threat with some wind gusts between 30-40 mph, but higher gusts likely within stronger storms. The good news is we’re not expecting widespread severe weather on Delmarva, but stay tuned for possible changes.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny and a bit cooler with highs in the mid 60s. Thursday will be partly to mostly sunny and even cooler with highs in the upper 50s to near 60. Rain is back for Friday with a strong cold front. Highs will be in the low 60s.
Saturday will turn breezy and chilly behind the front with mostly sunny skies. Highs will only be in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Sunday remains sunny and a bit chilly with highs in the low 50s.
Temperatures stay below normal for Monday with partly to mostly sunny skies and a slight chance for a shower. Highs will be in the low and mid 50s.
Have a great night and go vote Tuesday!
