Sussex County gearing up for big Election Day
GEORGETOWN, Del. – Despite rain in the forecast for Election Day, Sussex County Board of Elections are still expecting a big turnout.
We’re told that this election has already broken records in the county with 8,000 people already mailing in absentee ballots. Sussex County will have 73 polling sites open starting early Tuesday morning.
All you have to bring is a form of identification. That can be a driver’s license or official documents showing you are who you say you are.
“We’re open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. if you’re in line at 8 p.m. we won’t put a stop in the line so don’t worry about that,” says Sussex County Board of Election’s Director Kenneth McDowell.
In case you don’t know where your polling place is you can head to the Delaware elections website.
