Single vehicle crash leads to DUI charges for Salisbury man
SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Police arrested a Salisbury man following a single vehicle crash Sunday night.
The incident happened shortly before 10:30 PM Sunday, when police were dispatched to the area of Parker Road in Salisbury for a reported single vehicle crash. On arrival, the trooper made contact with the suspected driver, 39-year-old Willie Graves Jr, and observed the smell of alcohol as well as other clues of impaired driving.
The trooper conducted several field sobriety tests, which Graves failed, and he was taken into custody. It was learned during processing that he had an active warrant out through another agency on unrelated charges.
He is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and other related traffic citations.
