Salisbury University announces new scholarship for fall 2019

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury University has announced that they will offer a scholarship for new undergraduate students beginning fall 2019.

Officials from the school say the Good Neighbor Scholarship will be worth $6,000 annually, and will cover approximately 60 percent of the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition and fees. Recipients will have the option to renew the scholarship for eight semesters for freshmen, or six semesters for transfer students.

Delaware Technical Community College alumni with associate’s degrees are eligible for a $1,000 bonus, bringing the value of their scholarship up to $7,000 annually. Students may also be eligible for additional scholarships through other programs.

The Good Neighbor Scholarship is being offered to students entering from Delaware, Virginia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New Jersey, North Carolina, and New York.
