Salisbury residents share favorite Thanksgiving traditions

SALISBURY, Md. – What’s Thanksgiving without a little holiday tradition? Whatever your tradition is from watching football, to playing football, to watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade, some people will tell you Thanksgiving isn’t Thanksgiving without their special family tradition. So we decided to hit the streets to ask you the viewer what your favorite holiday traditions are.

“Every year I’m always out just buying stuff at the stores I’m always getting my movies but this year I decided to go for a TV,” said Ulises Garcia.

“Every year we have a turkey bowl. They have a little football thing every year and all the kids come out and we play football in the morning and then we go and eat thanksgiving dinner,” said Kevin Boyd.

“Usually I don’t get thanksgiving with the family anymore because I’m usually Black Friday shopping since it’s no longer on black Friday’s it’s now Thursday,” said another resident, Donna Fletcher.

And of course we still want to hear what you and your family’s favorite Thanksgiving traditions are so make sure you tell us on our Facebook page and Twitter.
