Salisbury man to serve 35 years for sex abuse of a minor
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man was sentenced on Thursday to 35 years in the Division of Corrections for sex abuse of a minor.
On August 29th, 46-year-old Robert Lee More was convicted of one count of sex abuse of a minor, two counts of third degree sex offense, and one count of second degree assault. Sentencing had been delayed pending a pre-sentence investigation and mental health assessment.
In July 2017, the Salisbury Police Department responded to Tilghman Street in Salisbury for the report of a sexual assault of a minor inside of a multi-family residence.
Back in 2004, Moore was convicted of sexual offenses committed against multiple minor victims, but released from prison on those offenses in 2016. At the time of this offense, Moore was on parole and a Tier III sex offender registrant. He will remain a Tier III sex offender for life.
