GEORGETOWN, Del. – Revelation Craft Brewing Company has announced that they will acquire the former 16 Mile Brewery in Georgetown.

With the booming craft beer scene in Delaware, President and Brewmaster for Revelation Patrick Suggs says the current opportunity for local growth is tremendous. The brewery’s location right on the Junction and Breakwater Trail in Rehoboth has quickly become a well-known oasis for locals.

“The response to our beers here at the beach and beyond has blown us away and the growth has surpassed all expectations. We are proud of the experience and variety we offer. In order to continue to deliver on the high standards we have set and reach our goals, we need the right type of capacity. This opportunity in Georgetown is absolutely the right place for the right time,” said Suggs.

We’re told the brewery’s soon to be Georgetown location will offer a full menu on site and will also undergo an expansion to include an outdoor seating area and event space.

“Rehoboth is our home and we plan to continuously improve that home and always offer our guests the high quality beers and the comfortable experience they have grown to love. The purchase in Georgetown is a key part in helping us secure that goal for the future”, Suggs also added.

Owners anticipate opening the new Georgetown location in Spring 2019. For more information and updates, you may log onto Revelation’s website here or follow them on Facebook.
