Protesting The President

SALISBURY, Md.– Tonight locals took to the streets to exercise their first amendment rights.

Demonstrators were seen in front of City Hall in Downtown Salisbury protesting against President Trump’s move to call for the resignation of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions and President Trumps move on the Mueller investigation.

We’re told this was one of the hundreds of protests held today and we counted about 100 in attendance most of them from Delmarva. Organizers say this demonstration is important for locals to be apart of , so that they can tell their representatives and senators how they feel about national and local issues.

“What we’re doing tonight is exercising our constitutional rights. To protest Trump’s actions to undercut the Mueller investigation and the rule of law,” says Toby Perkins, organizer.

Organizers are calling on Representative Andy Harris, Senator Ben Cardin, and Senator Chris Van Hollen to do what they can to protect the integrity of the investigation.
