One wounded in Dover shooting incident

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that left one wounded Sunday evening.

Police say the incident happened in the 400 block of Barrister Place, shortly after 8 PM. An unknown suspect reportedly fired multiple shots towards a home, hitting a 20-year-old female who was lying in bed on the second floor of the home. A vehicle and the front of the home were also hit.

The victim was taken to Kent General Hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
