Ocean City gears up for Christmas Parade

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City town officials are gearing up for the 36th Annual Christmas Parade.

According to the Town of Ocean City spokesperson, Jessica Waters, the event includes all sorts of floats with antique cars and even performances by school bands from Snow Hill High School, Pocomoke High School and others.

Waters said the Ocean City Fire Department, the Ocean Pines Fire Department and the Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company will also be participating.

“The holidays are a big time in Ocean City, and there’s nothing better than getting down to the beach and celebrating the holiday season,” said Waters.

“It’s going to begin at 100 St. and go all the way up to 120 St., so if you’re looking for something fun with your family, it looks like the weather is going to cooperate,” said Waters.

Waters also said that 10 AM is the best time for people who want to grab a premier location.
