Local church hosts annual community Thanksgiving

LEWES, Del. –  Many organizations in the First State gave out free meals Thursday, including a local organization that hosted a Community Thanksgiving bringing together families and friends to enjoy the holiday together.

On the menu, greens, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and everything but the kitchen sink, Conley’s United Methodist Church put on a full spread for the special event.

With volunteers working tirelessly to make the meal a success.

Those with the church tell us its more than just showing off who’s got the best sweet potatoes.

Its all about being thankful, being grateful, and sharing happiness with others during this special time of year.
