UPDATE: Gold Alert canceled, Dover woman found

UPDATE: Shirley Downs has been found by a Dover Police officer. The Gold Alert has been canceled.

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are issuing a Gold Alert for 64-year-old Shirley Downs.

Police say Downs was last seen leaving her home at around 8 AM Monday. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red and green tights, and carrying a blue bag. She also uses a cane to walk.

Downs suffers from medical conditions that can present a danger to her health if not properly monitored.
