Free heart screenings being offered in Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del. – Peninsula Regional Medical Center’s Guerrieri Heart & Vascular Institute will be offering free heart screenings for both men and women later this month.

These comprehensive screenings will include cholesterol, HDL, triglycerides, fasting blood glucose, blood pressure testing, pulse oximetry testing, 10-year risk analysis, and more.

Those who wish to participate must not currently be under the care of a cardiologist or have a known history of heart disease. A 12-hour fast is required prior to testing.

Screenings will be held on Thursday, November 29th, from 8 AM to noon. They will take place on the Wagner Wellness Van at the Delmarva Health Pavilion, located at 30265 Commerce Drive in Millsboro.
