Attempted burglary at Dover Rite Aid under investigation

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred at a local Rite Aid early Thursday morning.

Police say that around 3:50 AM, officers responded to an alarm at the business, located at 245 N. DuPont Highway. On arrival, they discovered that the front door had been damaged, along with damage to a door to the pharmacy, but the suspects were unsuccessful at gaining access to the store.
