UPDATE: missing person case upgraded to homicide investigation

DOVER, Del.— Police in Delaware have now upgraded a missing person case into a homicide investigation.

Today, officials located the bodies of both 20-year-old Ahyanna Baker-Griffin and her boyfriend Dishiem Johnson in an apartment complex, just days after Griffin was reported missing.

Police say they located Johnson’s car  in the parking lot of 155 South West Street in Camden, Delaware.

Investigators believe this is a murder-suicide, where Johnson may have taken his own life following the murder of Ahyanna Baker-Griffin. Family members reported her missing on Saturday November 10th,  after she missed a family function and did not show up for work.

She was last seen a week ago leaving with her boyfriend.

Police are waiting for the medical examiners report to determine the final cause of death.
