Dover man facing drug charges after traffic stop for cell phone use
DOVER, Del. – A traffic stop lead to drug charges for a Dover man Tuesday afternoon.
Officers from the Dover Police Department made an attempt to stop Samuel Seymour III in the area of North Caroline Place and Greenway Lane for a cell phone violation. Seymour was also observed trying to hide items while attempting to flee from police.
Police caught Seymour and found 6.7 grams of MDMA and 4.3 grams of cocaine in his possession.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver (MDMA/Cocaine), tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, drug paraphernalia, and traffic violation. He was released on $23,201 unsecured bond.
