Dover man arrested on multiple drug charges following administrative search

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested a Dover man on several drug charges Thursday.

Members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force (GTF), along with Delaware Probation and Parole Officers responded to a home in the 4000 block of N. DuPont Highway to conduct an administrative search.

Officials seized 111.03 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and over $500 in suspected drug proceeds.

The resident, 44-year-old Nakia Wiggins, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 5 quantity, possession with the intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute on $55,500 cash only bond.
