UPDATE: Domestic dispute leads to vehicle crash in Harrington
Husband now facing charges as well

According to the Harrington Police Department 25-year-old Bruce D. Butler of Harrington has been arrested and is being charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child in connection to the November 16 domestic dispute and subsequent car accident. Butler initially fled the scene, but turned himself into police to face his charge and he was released on $1,000 unsecured bond.

HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police arrested a Harrington woman early Friday morning after she crashed her car following a domestic incident.
Shortly before 1 AM, police on patrol were called to the intersection of Park Brown Road and West Center Street for a reported vehicle accident with injuries.
When police arrived on the scene, they located 26-year-old Rochelle Bulter, of Harrington, whose vehicle had reportedly hit a utility pole. Butler suffered facial injuries as a result of the crash but refused to be taken to a hospital.
Further investigation revealed that Butler and her husband had previously been involved in a domestic dispute at their home in the Friendship Village Apartment complex. Butler’s husband allegedly left the home in his vehicle when Butler began chasing him down in her vehicle. She then lost control of her vehicle, crashing into the utility pole as a result.
According to police, Butler also left a 7 month old child alone in the home unsupervised during the incident.
Butler was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and careless driving. She was arraigned and released on $500 unsecured bond. The child was turned over to a family member.
