District celebrates 150 years, holiday season in style

SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico County Public Schools celebrated their 150th anniversary with a party at the Centre at Salisbury Saturday.

All 26 county schools attended the event, and they all showcased things like their STEM programs, career and technology education programs, voice and performing arts students and more.

“We hope to just continue to spread the word about all the wonderful things that are happening in our schools.  They can see the talent of our students who are performing, talk to teachers and administrators about the great things that are happening in each one of our schools,” said Dr. Donna Hanlin, superintendent of Wicomico County Public Schools.
