DELAWARE – The Delaware Transit Corporation (DART) will offer free rides to Veterans on all statewide bus services on Monday, November 12th, in honor of Veteran’s Day.

Veterans can ride for free on both DART Fixed Route and Paratransit bus services all day if they are in uniform or provide a Veteran’s ID card, which would also cover spouses.

Spouses or partners of veterans that do not have an ID card can provide another type of verification in order to ride for free.

“Our veterans have given so much to protect our country, and the best way DART could give back is provide our veterans free transportation. Families of veterans also make that sacrifice to support their loved ones, so we are extending this service to the spouses and partners of veterans as well,” said DTC CEO John Sisson.
