Cambridge Police investigating two armed robberies

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The Cambridge Police Department is looking for information regarding two armed robberies that took place Wednesday evening.

Police responded to the first reported robbery at around 8:30 PM, in the 700 block of Glasgow Street. The victim told police that as they approached their vehicle, an unknown suspect approached them from behind and demanding money. The suspect allegedly pushed them and grabbed property that they were carrying, then fled the area on foot.

A witness in this incident also reported to police that as they were walking with the victim, a male approached them with a handgun. The witness described the male as thin, 5’9″-5’10” in height, wearing a dark blue/black hoodie with a mask on.

Police received a report of a second robbery shortly after the first, in the 400 block of Linden Avenue. Officers responded and met with the victim, who reported that one of three juveniles in the area approached them quickly, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot after the victim gave them an unknown amount of cash.
