Blue Angels set to soar above Delmarva

Famous fleet headed to Wallops Flight Facility for meet and greet

Delmarva – Ocean City residents and visitors may be getting a sneak preview of the famous OC Air Show as the world renowned Blue Angels could be flying over the Ocean City Boardwalk prior their landing at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility.

According to the OC Air Show’s official website Lt. Cary Rickoff and Lt. Cmdr. Adam Kerrick, who fly Blue Angel 7 and Blue Angel 8 respectively, are headed to Wallops Island to meet with officials from the OC Air Show, Town of Ocean City, Wallops Flight Facility, and other supporting agencies of the June event at about 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 28. The pair of pilots will be flying a Blue Angel F/A- 18 together for this flight and there is a possibility that they could perform a non-aerobatic aerial survey of the Ocean City Boardwalk before they land for their meeting.

The 2019 OC Air Show is scheduled for the weekend  of June 15-16.
