Authorities searching for suspects after vehicle found riddled with bullets
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is searching for who is responsible for a shots fired incident Friday night.
Authorities responded to the 100 Block of Willis Road shortly before 9 PM. Once on scene, officers found an abandoned Chevrolet Caprice on the sidewalk in the area.
The vehicle had bullet holes in the passenger side door, and the front passenger window had been shot out. The occupant apparently fled on foot, leaving the vehicle behind.
Officers checked the surrounding areas, as well as local hospitals and medical centers for any potential victims, but were unsuccessful.
