Andino powers Shore hoops to first win of the year

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- Led by former MEAC freshman of the year Ryan Andino, the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks men’s basketball team chalked up their first win of the year, 77-52 over Central Penn on Saturday.

Andino finished with 26 points, canning seven threes, six in the first half. He was followed by AJ Cheeseman who dropped 20 and point guard Bryan Urrutia dished out nine assists.

The Hawks (1-5) travel to New York City on Tuesday for a tilt with Chris Mullin and his St. John’s Red Storm.
