47 ABC gives back; collecting holiday food items for Thanksgiving for Thousands

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – Our very own 47 ABC news team got into the holiday giving spirit collecting donations for Mountaire Farms’ Thanksgiving for Thousands food drive on Saturday.

Our team, along with the help of American Legion collected boxes upon boxes of non-perishable food items like cranberry sauce, yams, corn, boxed stuffing and brownie mix! All that, for families in need.

After Saturday’s collection  Mountaire Farms will divvy out the items into individual boxes for families complete with a rotisserie chicken, just in time for Thanksgiving!
