Wicomico County encourages residents to sign up for emergency alerts

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Department of Emergency Services wants to encourage residents to sign up for emergency cell phone alerts.

This system will automatically notify citizens of Wicomico County of important information in the event of an emergency through telephone communications.

If you would like to receive these messages on a mobile phone, you must register your phone with the Department of Emergency services online.
