Whitehaven Ferry out of service for refurbishing beginning Nov 12th

SALISBURY, Md. – Those who regularly use the Whitehaven Ferry will have to find an alternate route of travel beginning November 12th.

The ferry is expected to be down for approximately 60 days for refurbishing. Typically refurbishment occurs in the winter, causing downtime to last 90 to 120 days, however, completing the work now should allow for less downtime for the ferry.
