Weekend traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Dover

DOVER, Del. – A Dover woman is facing drug charges after a traffic stop over the weekend.

Friday night, Dover Police initiated a traffic stop and after making contact with the driver, 30-year-old Tierra Johnson, they discovered the strong scent of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Officials began a search of the vehicle and found approximately 103 grams of marijuana, packaging materials, a digital scale, and $1,178 in suspected drug proceeds.

Johnson was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was committed to Baylor Women’s Correctional Center on a $15,500 secured bond, and had her bond revoked due to pending drug related charges.
