Upcoming Easton road closure announced

EASTON, Md. – Easton Police are warning local motorists of a brief road closure that will take place later this week.

Dover Street between Washington St. and West St. will be closed on Wednesday, October 17th, for a crane that is scheduled to assist with maintenance at 1 S. Washington St. The closure is expected to last from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

In addition to this closure, S. Washington St. will be reduced to one lane operations from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Monday, October 22nd and Tuesday, October 23rd. This construction will also affect sidewalk access on the corners of S. Washington and Dover St.

Motorists are asked to please try to avoid these areas and use alternate routes, if possible. The work is weather dependent, so street closure dates and times are subject to change.
