Today’s Forecast: October 26, 2018
Rain will continue to overspread the area tonight as a low pressure moves in from the south. Some of the rain will be heavy at times with winds turning gusty after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 or 50 mph, especially along the Atlantic coast.
Steady rain will slow down and eventually taper off during the mid-morning on Saturday, but a few showers cannot be ruled out during the afternoon as the Nor’easter quickly pushes away from Delmarva. Total rainfall of 1-2 inches likely. Temperatures will be milder in the mid and upper 60s, but northern parts of the peninsula, especially in Maryland will likely be cooler than southern areas. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and dry with temperatures in the low 60s. A weak upper-level disturbance will bring scattered showers back to the area Sunday night.
Monday will have a few morning showers before drying out during the afternoon under a partly sunny to mostly cloudy sky. Highs will be near 60.
The sun is back on Tuesday with temperatures in the upper 50s to near 60. Halloween looks mostly sunny and milder with highs in the mid 60s.
Clouds increase ahead of a front on Thursday with warming temperatures into the upper 60s to near 70. A few showers are possible late. Friday will be partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers around and highs in the mid 60s.
Have a great night and wonderful weekend!
