Shots fired incident under investigation in Seaford

SEAFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident that took place Tuesday evening.

We’re told the incident occurred just before 8:45 PM, when troopers were called to respond to the 24000 block of Concord Pond Road for a complaint of shots fired.

When police arrived, a 26-year-old male reported that unknown subject(s) drove by the residence and fired multiple shots. Several people were reportedly outside the residence, with the homeowner and two children inside at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported as a result.

During the investigation, police learned that a total of five rounds were fired. Two rounds hit the residence, while three more rounds struck two vehicles that were parked at the residence.

The suspect vehicle was described as a white and silver newer style car. No further suspect information has been provided at this time.
