Several local nonprofits receive program funding through the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore

SALISBURY, Md. – The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) announced on Friday that they will be distributing $92,287 to 21 lower shore nonprofit organizations.

We’re told grants were awarded to support youth development, the arts, education, mental and physical health, veterans, seniors, and more. These nonprofits design a variety of programs to meet the needs of the community.

The following nonprofits received program funding from CFES:

  • Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Maryland
  • Art League of Ocean City, Inc.
  • Atlantic General Hospital Foundation
  • Coastal Hospice, Inc.
  • Deal Island Chance Volunteer Fire Co.
  • Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre, Inc.
  • Horizons Salisbury
  • Julia A. Purnell Museum
  • LifeMark, Inc.
  • Lower Shore Clinic / Go-Getters
  • Lower Shore Support Services, Inc.
  • Mid-Shore Pro Bono, Inc.
  • New Dimensions Family Ministries, LLC
  • Salisbury Zoological Park
  • SHORE UP Inc.
  • Stories Love Music
  • Strong City Baltimore
  • Town of Pittsville Maryland
  • U.S. Kennels, Inc.
  • University of Maryland Eastern Shore
