Second suspect arrested in connection with Sussex County homicide

PORTSVILLE, Del.–Delaware State Police say that 2nd suspect has finally been arrested in connection Sussex County homicide. Jerry Reed, 26,  turned himself in at Troop 5 Tuesday afternoon.

Back on September 26th, 19-year old Isaac Hatton was found shot and killed in the area of Portsville MillPond. Reed’s alleged accomplice, 21 year old Traevon Dixon was arrested and formally charged with first degree murder and firearm possession charges on September 29th. He is currently being held at Sussex Correctional Institution.

Reed also now faces charges of first degree murder and firearm possession.
