Robbery under investigation in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that happened late Tuesday evening.

Just before 11:30 PM, troopers were called to respond to the unit block of Webbs Lane for a reported robbery.

When police arrived, a 51-year-old male resident reported that while he was outside of his apartment, he was approached by two subjects, a male and female. Both suspects were reportedly armed with gums and began pointing them at the victim. The victim then threw his wallet on the ground, at which time the suspects took the wallet and fled the scene.

The male suspect was described as a black male in his 30s, approximately 6’0″, 185-190 lbs, wearing all dark clothing. The female suspect was described as a black female, also in her 30s, approximately 5’6″, 135 lbs, wearing all dark clothing.

The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
