PRMC hosting free diabetes education event
SALISBURY, Md. – Peninsula Regional Medical Center Nutrition & Diabetes is inviting the public to attend a free diabetes education event, happening on Monday, November 12th.
“Diabetes Medications: What to Do for Surgeries, Procedures, Fasting, and Special Diets” will begin at 5:30 PM, with exhibits from companies involved in diabetes care and services.
At 7 PM, Dr. Jack Snitzer, an endocrinologist with Peninsula Regional Endocrinology and Diabetes will present on the evolution of diabetes care and treatment options. The presentation is expected to last approximately one hour and will be held in the auditorium of the Avery W. Hall Educational Center on the Peninsula Regional Medical Center campus.
Free parking will be available at the Avery W. Hall Educational Center, located at the corner of Waverly Drive and Vine Street, in the parking lot directly across Vine Street, or in the adjacent visitor parking garage.
