Police searching for suspect who ruined Seaford football field

Officials say the field can't be used because of the damage.

SEAFORD, Del. – Police are searching for the people who drove through a high school football field, on Sunday.

According to the Seaford Police Department, officers responded to to a call at the Jays Nest Football Field, in reference to criminal mischief to city property. They say an unknown subject(s) drove through the Seaford High School football field, leaving “large circular ruts” in the grass.

Officials say the field is so damaged that it can’t be used.
