Planet Maze to close its doors

OCEAN CITY, Md. – A beloved Ocean City staple that has provided years of family fun will soon be closing its doors.

Planet Maze, a place where you can play arcade games, mini golf and laser tag will be closing October 28th.

Jamie Albright, one of the owners, recently posted the following statement on an Ocean City Facebook page: “Thank you for 24 FUN years! Planet maze will be closing it’s doors on October 28th. It’s been “A-mazing” hosting your parties, fundraisers, proms and family reunions. We hope we created the same great memories for all of you! We thank all of our great staff over the years who have worked for us and we thank all of YOU for your support and visits to Planet Maze and Ocean City! In the meantime, we remain open Saturdays and Sundays through October. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

We’re told a 105 room hotel called Hilton Tru will likely be taking Planet Maze’s place.

The hotel still needs to submit a building permit application.
