Md. man arrested following traffic stop

SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico County Sheriffs have arrested a Salisbury man after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs, on Thursday.

The incident began when a deputy patrolling the area of Route 50 and Powhatten Boulevard saw a vehicle drive by that had expired tags. When the officer initiated a traffic stop, they noted the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

As a result, the officer conducted a search of the vehicle, leading to the discovery of over 10 grams of marijuana.

The driver, 34-year-old Michael Moore, was subsequently arrested and charged with CDS possession marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia.
