Main Roots Coffee closes its doors after six years
SALISBURY, Md. – Main Roots, a beloved coffee shop in Salisbury, is closing it’s doors after six years of service.
Over the years, the small coffee shop tucked away in the Downtown Plaza has been the birth of many friendships, renovations and even proposals.
You may remember the coffee shop was recently renovated after a water pipe burst, but the five months they were closed hurt their business, so the owners decided to close the coffee shops doors on Wednesday.
Nate Johnston, the Owner of Main Roots said, “Being closed for almost five months, or about five months is again impactful to your customer base in an industry where coffee is a convenience or a habit, and you totally mess up somebody’s habit and their convenience being closed so I feel like building from that was a hard starting point.”
We’re told the owners will consider opening back up in a new location in the future. As for if that will happen, only time will tell.
