Kent Island field hockey stays undefeated behind Kaufman sisters

CRISFIELD, Md.- Behind a goal each from the Kaufman sisters, Kent Island stayed undefeated with a 3-1 win over Crisfield on Wednesday.

Celena Kaufman got the Bucs on the board first, when she redirected a shot from her sister, Ella.

Kent Island would have a 2-0 lead at half following a goal from Maggie Silver, but Crisfield would quickly make it a one-goal deficit when the Crabbers’ Noel Atkins put one home.

Ella Kaufman would end up getting her goal late in the second half, which sealed the win.
