Jazz Fest returns to resort towns
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Thursday marked the beginning of the annual Jazz Festival in Rehoboth Beach.
The four-day long festival takes place across three towns, Rehoboth, Lewes and Dewey Beach, attracting thousands to the area to watch dozens of performances.
We talked to some of the performers who say the event is a great way to showcase the area to those who may be coming here for the first time.
“The energy, its funny, I guess I’m one of the people bringing some energy in here, enjoying with the fans. It’s amazing because it’s like a town take over, with some great music and great music lovers,” said singer Eric Roberson. “It’s actually a chance for me to actually get a chance to see some of the people that I’m fans of while I’m not on stage, as well.”
Thursday was the first night of the festival, it will be ongoing through Sunday night with the final act at 7:30 PM.
The first act Friday is at 1 PM at Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton.
