Easton breaks 11-year skid with win over Kent Island
Easton Tops Kent Island 14-7
The Easton Warriors played host to Kent Island Friday night under the lights. The Warriors entered the game riding an 11-game losing streak to the Buccaneers with their last win coming back in 2006.
The Bucs would strike first to lead 7-0 but Easton would answer with a touchdown of their own, knotting the game at 7-7 heading into the half.
In the second half there would be only one score and it came in the third quarter courtesy of a Thatcher Knox rushing touchdown from 12 yards out.
The Warriors would go onto break that losing skid with the 14-7 win.
Tahjiere Nixon would lead the Warriors defense with three interceptions.
