Dover Police investigating residential burglary

DOVER, Del. – An investigation is underway following a reported burglary of a home on Thursday.

Police say the incident occurred in the 300 block of Oakmont Drive, between 8 AM and 4:08 PM, when an unknown suspect(s) reportedly forced their way into a home by prying the front door open. The suspect stole a jewelry box before fleeing in an unknown direction.
