Dover Police arrest Princess Anne man on DUI, drug charges

DOVER, Del. – A Princess Anne man faces multiple charges after police say he got into an accident in a stolen vehicle.

The incident took place Thursday evening, when troopers were called to respond to an accident in the area of River Road and New Castle Avenue.

On arrival, police discovered that 39-year-old Michael Taylor had struck a fire hydrant and the corner of a home in the 400 block of New Castle Avenue. Taylor was also found with 57.4 grams of PCP in his possession, and was found to be driving a stolen vehicle.

He was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, possession of PCP (tier 5 qty), theft of a motor vehicle, possession with intent to deliver PCP, three counts of criminal mischief, drug paraphernalia, and traffic violations. Taylor was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $33,300 bond.
