Dover Police arrest man on multiple arson charges

DOVER, Del. – A several months long investigation conducted by the Dover Police, Dover Fire Marshal, and Dover Fire Department has come to an end after a man was arrested in connection to multiple arson incidents.

The investigation was a result of upwards of ten reported fires in the Clearfield Apartment Complex, located at Haman Drive in Dover. Officials determined that these fires were intentionally set.

62-year-old Dail Morris was arrested and charged with 2 counts of arson 1st degree, arson 2nd degree, and 7 counts of reckless burning. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $28,500 secured bond.
