DelDOT announces brief Dover road closure

DOVER, Del. – DelDOT is warning motorists of a brief road closure that will take place later this month in Dover.

Public Safety Boulevard between US 13 and Transportation Circle will be closed beginning at 7 AM on Monday, October 15th. Weather permitting, the road is expected to reopen at 3 PM on Wednesday, October 17th.

This closure is due to necessary removal and replacement of crossroad pipe.

Westbound traffic will be detoured north on Bay Road, west on Martin Luther King Boulevard, south onto US 13, and return to Public Safety Boulevard.

Southbound traffic will be detoured north on US 13, east on Martin Luther King Boulevard, south on Bay Road, west onto Transportation Circle, and return to Public Safety Boulevard.

Detour signage will also be posted for motorists.
