Delaware Voter registration deadline coming up

DOVER, Del. – The general election is one month from Saturday and that means time is running out for you to register to vote if you still haven’t.

Saturday October 13th is the last day to register. To register, you can go online or show up to your local elections commission office or even the DMV to make sure you’re all set for Election Day.

Those with the Delaware election commission say voting is the best way to make your voice heard.

Elaine Manlove, the State Elections Commissioner said, “You have no right to complain about anything in government if you’re not involved in it from the beginning. There’s no excuse for not voting. I’ve never in my life not voted I can’t imagine not.”

You can also register to vote at your local health and social services office. The state elections commission office is open in Dover weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or go online at ivote.de.gov.
