“Cornhole for a Cause” raises money for college-bound grads
GEORGETOWN, Del. – Local nonprofit “Making a Difference Coalition” put on its Cornhole for a Cause tournament over at Mulligan’s Pointe Golf Club.
Busting bean bags and putting their best feet forward, cornhole masters put their skills to the test to raise money for the nonprofit.
All proceeds from the event will provide financial help to college-bound youth who may not be able to pay for books, drive themselves to and from classes,or even afford a U-Haul to move their things into dorms to name a few college expenses.
Robert West with MADC said, “We just want to make a difference. We’re doing this for the sole purpose of raising money for our youth and young adults who have a desire and passion to pursue post-grad education.”
